Around March 2010 .GL started accepting Registrars for access to the .GL Registry platform, the goal was, at first, to use it as a tool for making management of existing domains easier. The Registrar program gives participants access to a CoCCA based HTTP/EPP Registry platform, running in Tele Greenlands own datacenter. It allows for fully automated registration and a more streamlined billing procedure, in addition it also voids all data modification fees (contact info/nameserver update etc.).
Any organization registering domains on behalf of others can become a .GL Registrar, provided they fulfill the requirements. See: Becoming a GL Registrar
Also, please be aware that while .GL uses the CoCCA platform for the Registry, CoCCA are not involved in the day-to-day operations of .GL. Therefore please don't send .GL related questions to CoCCA.
